Sangster Airport to Treasure Beach Transfer Guide

Understand the MBJ-to-Treasure Beach route, estimated travel time and south-coast transfer considerations.

Treasure Beach is on Jamaica’s south coast, while Sangster International Airport is on the northwestern coast. The journey is approximately ninety-four kilometers and commonly takes around one hour and forty minutes to two hours without extended stops.

Why the route needs advance planning

Treasure Beach does not have the same volume of airport transportation as Montego Bay’s major resort corridor. Pre-arranging the journey can reduce uncertainty after a long flight, particularly for evening arrivals.

Private transfer

A private transfer is usually the simplest door-to-door option. Provide the exact accommodation name and community because the Treasure Beach area includes several bays, villages, guesthouses and villas.

Coach and local transportation

A lower-cost journey may combine scheduled coach service with local transportation. This can work for flexible travelers, but connections, luggage handling and the final segment should be researched before arrival.

Plan food, cash and connectivity

Download the accommodation address, driver contact and offline maps before leaving the airport. Travelers arriving late should also confirm whether food, reception and check-in assistance will remain available.

Departure-day timing

Allow a meaningful road and traffic buffer when returning to MBJ. The trip should be scheduled around the airline’s check-in requirement rather than the optimistic minimum driving time.
