Information stored in your browser
Planning tools may use local browser storage to remember preferences, cookie choices and trip-cost assumptions. This information remains in the browser unless the visitor clears it or uses the reset option provided by the relevant tool.
Optional analytics
Analytics does not load until a visitor chooses to allow analytics through the cookie preference control. When analytics is not configured, the preference may still be stored so the website can honor the choice later.
Affiliate click records
The website may record aggregate context when an internal affiliate redirect is used. A record can include the partner name, service category, internal source page, destination slug, route slug and click time. The affiliate-click system is designed not to store an IP address or personal identifier in the Payload record.
Newsletter and marketing email
When a visitor voluntarily joins the Jamaica Travel Atlas mailing list, the website stores the submitted email address, an optional first name, the consent version, signup source, subscription status and relevant consent, confirmation or unsubscribe dates. The newsletter subscriber record does not intentionally store the visitor's IP address.
Newsletter signup uses double opt-in. A submitted address remains pending until the recipient completes the email confirmation process. Jamaica Travel Atlas uses a confirmed address for trip-planning emails and occasional marketing or partner offers covered by the signup consent. Confirmed subscribers are provided an unsubscribe method.
Unsubscribed addresses may remain in the mailing database with an unsubscribed status so the site can honor the opt-out and avoid accidental future mailing. DreamHost processes confirmation and subscription-related email sent from marketing@jamaicatravelatlas.com.
Contact messages
The public contact form transiently processes the submitted name, email address, topic and message so it can deliver an email to Jamaica Travel Atlas. The form does not create a Payload CMS contact-message record. Email providers and the receiving mailbox may retain the message under their own policies.
Server logs and security
Hosting and security systems may generate technical logs needed to operate, diagnose and protect the website. These logs can include request information commonly processed by web servers.
Flight search on the Travelpayouts White Label
Jamaica Travel Atlas provides branded flight search at flights.jamaicatravelatlas.com. Travelpayouts supplies and hosts the search form, search results and connections to the airlines, agencies or other booking providers shown in those results.
The White Label may use cookies or local browser storage to retain search history, selected filters, language, currency, cookie choices and affiliate attribution. Search details entered into the flight form are processed through the Travelpayouts flight search system. Jamaica Travel Atlas does not receive or store payment-card information entered on a booking provider's website.
Analytics across the main site and flight subdomain
When a visitor permits analytics, Jamaica Travel Atlas uses the same Google Analytics 4 measurement property on the main website and the flight-search subdomain. Analytics events may include page location, referring page, movement from the main website to flight search, interaction with the search form, display of search results, clicks to booking providers and navigation back to the main website.
Analytics is not intended to collect payment information. Visitors can decline optional analytics, reopen the available cookie controls and clear stored browser data through their browser settings.
External providers
When a visitor leaves Jamaica Travel Atlas, the external provider controls its own privacy, cookies, account, payment and booking practices. Review the provider’s policies before submitting personal or payment information.

Visitors can reopen cookie settings from the footer, select essential-only storage, clear browser storage and contact Jamaica Travel Atlas when the public contact channel is available.
